It Started at Home

I'm Amina, the founder of Hardy & Kin, a children's clothing brand born in California and inspired by my own family.

As a mom and stepmom raising a beautifully blended family, I've come to appreciate just how much meaning lives in the everyday. When my two little boys came along, I found myself wanting to hold onto every bit of their childhood, especially the ordinary moments that seem to pass far too quickly.

I wanted to create something that felt familiar and special at the same time. Clothing that was beautiful without being impractical, comfortable enough for real childhood, and thoughtfully made without an unnecessary luxury price tag.

And so, Hardy & Kin began.

Our collections bring together soft, quality fabrics, thoughtful details, and designs inspired by the charm of childhood. From our bamboo sleepwear to the pieces we're dreaming up next, we focus on comfort, everyday practicality, and a timeless sense of nostalgia.

We love the kind of prints that remind you of something familiar: a morning at Grandma's house, a favorite childhood toy, or a family tradition you hope your own children will remember.

Because while children may outgrow their clothes, the memories made in them have a way of staying.

More Than a Last Name.

Hardy is our family name. Kin is everyone else.

Our family is blended, multicultural, and full of different personalities, backgrounds, and stories. It's taught me that family isn't always defined by the name we share, but by the love, traditions, and memories we build together.

That belief became the heart of Hardy & Kin.

We wanted to create more than beautiful children's clothing. We wanted to build something that celebrates the many ways families come together, where everyone feels a sense of belonging.

Because not everyone is a Hardy, but everyone is Kin.
